A great example of a cool climate sauvignon with aromas of green pepper, figs and gooseberry. with a deep mineral core and a lively palate with refreshing acidity. The palate is very pure and bursting with flavour with a deep mineral and a stylish richness. Lovely to drink alone or with a range of fish or chicken dishes.

What a versatile wine! Fresh, crisp, floral tones with a lean elegant mouthfeel and a mineral backbone. Great with spicy foods, seafood, sushi, even beef carpaccio. Drinking beautifully now but will age for at least 5-7 years.

As in all the Cluver wines, the flavours are really pure and fresh with cool climate lemon and lime elegantly brushed with nuts and cream from the seemless oak integration with a backbone of minerality. Delicious Sauvignon Blanc based blend with a dash of Chenin. Great to drink alone, as an aperitif and delicious with seafood, chicken or fusion foods. A super all rounder.

A full bodied, rich and very elegant chardonnay with lime marmalade notes, a rich creaminess and enlivening acidity. Barrel fermentation makes the oak very integrated leading to a beautifully balanced wine. Overall, a lovely wine which would grace any dinner table. (Limited Qty)

Racy Sauvignon, with distinct chalk, lime, herb and chive flavours, and hints of white peach and honeysuckle emerging on the long finish. Restrained and elegant. Deceptively concentrated, this will continue to develop over a number of years.

This wine from the cooler climate of the Sutherland vineyard in Elgin is fresh and crisp with lovely melon and gooseberry aromas. Guava and juicy pineapple flavours prominent, with tart and sweet notes. A very elegant and beautifully balanced wine. Jancis Robinson really likes this Cape Sauvignon.

Possibly best dry Chenin Blanc in South Africa. Beautifully complex wine with layers of flavours ranging from floral, citrus, baked apple & tropical fruit flavours but with an edge of minerality and a touch of honey botrytis character. Ken Forrester is renowned for his chenin blancs and this one is no exception. Warm ripe apple flavours reined in by grapefruit acidity. Lovely honey notes and round mouthfeel from judicious use of oak . Lovely in it’s youth but has the structure to last and evolve for several years. Very low yielding vines.
